River Quest Girl Scout Program

Ahoy there Scouts!

Climb aboard one of RiverQuest's floating classrooms and work toward your badge requirements with the crew from RiverQuest. Scouts can participate in fun, hands-on educational experiences related to our three rivers. Join us for programs on ecology, water chemistry, navigation, physical science, bridges and local history.

Spend an exciting morning or afternoon on the waters of the Monongahela, Ohio and the Allegheny. We offer Two Special Badge Programs for Girl Scouts--scroll down for details.

Water Wonders Junior Girl Scout Badge

You can't get much closer to the wonders of water than out on our boats on the rivers of Pittsburgh! Tour our working science vessels and learn about the jobs of our captains, crew and science instructors; explore the water cycle and river food chain firsthand from "the Oh, the Al and the Mon" ; enjoy a serene moment on the water to write a poem or draw a picture; and learn about bodies of water from "La Belle Riviere," the Ohio River.

On the lighter weight scrapbook paper (12 x 12) sized down to run through a printer. I did do it on the next weight paper and it is not quite as flexible. If you are going to make a larger one, I might use stiffer paper.
wedding-invitation-ornament.html 100 Ornament: Print and cut strips of 100 logo, notch end like a ribbon if you like Roll around pencil to give it some curl and insert into ornament (I probably did about 6?) Add some glitter/beads/sequins – whatever - and a pretty bow. logo strips – attached (my computer did not like more lines than this so flip the paper around and send it through again)
